We spent 4 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Its a smallish site as Caravan and motorhome club sites go. Very well cared for and very clean. It has all the usual facilities you would expect, there is also a small well equipped play area for children. The staff are friendly and helpful. The site is well located for visiting the many and varied attractions in the area and easily accessed from the A1. It is very rural and peaceful, close to Grafham water, with many nearby walks and cycle routes. A bonus on the Friday night we stayed was the pizza van which arrived in time to save me from having to cook!
Very nice clean site, not a big site but very compact. Wardens are very helpful and pleasant. Nice walk over the fields to Grafham Water, Houghton Mill also close by and well worth a visit. Grafham village pub (an Indian) do very nice meals, we had a takeaway that was very nice and tasty. Well worth with a visit, we will be happy to go again, perhaps eat in next time.
My wife and i stayed at this site for 3 days, wish we could have stayed longer, the staff and wardens made us very welcome and explained what they were hoping to achieve in the coming months, as the site had been left to run down, they worked none stop all day as the hard stands were being completely refurbished. The shower blocks were very clean as was all areas.The wardens also explained the walks to the villages and to Grafham water near by. we would also recommend a visit the Indian restaurant at the end of the lane. Lovely and peaceful! The day relief wardens, Paul and Angela were friendly and welcoming. Facilities clean and tidy, the site well maintained. Excellent for a quick overnight stopover or for a longer stay to explore the local area.
This caravan is lovely kept lovely and clean by the wardens that are happy to help in any way they can. Nice little dog for walkies. Lovely play area for the children. And there is also a resident American long eared owl. That will give you pleasure taking photos.
