Really impressed with the service here. Within 24hrs of enquiring the bike was ready, fine tuned and in the back of the van. The speed, passion and bike knowledge was impressive. My daughter will love her first pedal bike. Thank you Danny and the team, well definitely be back!
We came here on my daughter's birthday to buy her first bike... Danny the store manager was very friendly and helpful, showing us the full range of child bikes. They had lots in stock - sizes and colours - so no need to order and come back later. Danny gave lots of advice on size. Once my daughter picked her bike we went to the park for 20 minutes or so while the team checked the whole bike over and got it ready. Whole experience was great. Thanks very much for the help she is very happy with her new bike! I've also come here several times now for servicing and repairs (Road and MTB) for my bikes and I've never been disappointed by the service/attitude/turn around times - a first rate local bike shop that I would recommend to anyone!
I was very impressed with Rutland Cycling at Grafham. The manager, Danny, was helpful on the phone when I called. I feel that I got good advice from him when I got to the store. He gave me feedback when I cycled round the car park which was a nice touch. Of course, I don't buy a bike that often, but I was pleasantly surprised when they fitted the pedals, bottle holders and lights for me in the store without me even asking. They even washed the dust off the wheels for me! The selection of bikes including e-bikes at the store is amazing. The store is definitely worth a visit.
My wife and I decided it was time, due to age, to look at purchasing a pair of e-bikes. We had visited all the high st retail stores and found it difficult to talk to anyone who seem to have any real knowledge of bikes. On a recommendation, we decided to visit Rutland Cycling at the Grafham store. We paid three visits. First to investigate choices; second to clarify some minor points, have an e-bike test ride and place an order for two e-bikes; third to collect the bikes. All the staff were friendly and helpful. However on all three occasions Gareth dealt with us in a most professional and polite manner. At no time did we feel under any pressure to buy, but his knowledge and love of all things bikes , developed a confidence in us that we were doing the right thing and enabled us to make the best decisions. Originally we had a budget we wished to keep to and Gareth discussed those bikes within or close to that budget. However after careful consideration of what we really wanted and what was available, we significantly increased our budget in order to acquire what we considered to be more suited to our needs. When we went to collect our e-bike we found they had been well prepared for us, even to the agreed modification on my wife's bike. We did not have a bike rack on the car at that time so the bikes had to be put in the back of the SUV. Two younger assistants were asked to help us load the bikes into the car. Both were very polite and very careful when loading our new toys into our Lexus pride and joy. We have now been riding the e-bikes for 3 weeks and regret nothing. they are a joy to ride and they were a joy to purchase. Thank you Gareth.
We decided to purchase an e-bike each and knew that we could get what we wanted from Rutland Cycling at Grafham Water. We had previously purchased traditional cycles from this shop so already knew that they had impressive showrooms and helpful & knowledgeable staff. This visit was no different, we were given just the right amount of assistance we needed and tried out the e-bikes we were interested in. We made the purchase and collected the bikes the following weekend. We are now looking forward to enjoying our new toys! This shop comes highly recommended.
