This surgery is closed so often I doubt they actually manage to be open for 20 hours a week, no reason or rhyme to their opening times, as the advertised times on google are way off, and when they are open I'll ring 4 or more times in a day and get a busy tone. I've been ringing them since Friday to get a repeat prescription, it's now Wednesday. It's been claimed that they are open during lunch times, but they just shut off their phones for 2 or so hours at lunch, can't tell if that makes me feel better about the situation or just frustrates me more.
I phoned up today to arrange a flu jab. Within half an hour of my call I was back home, job done! Now thats what I call service!
Very happy with my treatment
The care I have received personally is disgraceful. I have turned up for an appointment to be told that I was not booked in. The doctor has told me it's not his job to keep up to date with medication that is available for diabetes as I discovered the insulin I'm on is outdated by about 10 years. I'm supposed to get therapy but after CPFT have done nothing for me, the doctor tells me I have to contact them myself and their response is I have to go through my doctor. Go somewhere else is my advice
