Very good food very reasonably priced.Service hit and miss.The specials board is always worth checking.
You can never go wrong at Alex's. Always good service, excellent food, with a really good selection of meals. Winner every time.

I have to admit, this review is 2 years old, but when I last ate at Alex's it was one of the best Sunday roasts you could get. Everything was cooked perfectly, and had both quality and quantity. Will definitely visit if we're back in the area, but thanks to Alex and his staff for a great impromptu visit.
Great place to get breakfast. I'm not big into breakfast food but the food here is exceptional. Drink the coffees too they are top quality!
