Always delicious, always friendly and lovely pub. Usually have the set menu which is great value. But the a la carte is fab.
So found this place as I was staying away with work, it's lovely if not rather expensive. Staff are friendly attentative and accommodating and happy to chat about the food and wine to ensure your meal is excellent. The food taste is amazing and no wonder it's won many awards. So why the 3 stars if it's so good. Well 1) it's a little too expensive perhaps drop the price of food and drinks by 1-2 each and I'd say it's perfect. 2) I went on a steak night and had a starter, the presentation was amazing as was the taste it was proper good food. However when the steak came it was basically just plopped on top of the skinny fries and the presentation went out the window on that one, if it wasn't for these two points I'd give it 5 stars with no issue at all as the food and service is spot on.
