Took wife and two wee boys (2yrs & 5yrs) there today after a fine walkabout. Great food, drinks, cosy atmosphere with great staff too. The staff are a real credit to the pub restaurant, especially in how they interacted with the kids. Keep it up!
Lovely friendly staff, cosy pub, toilets spotless. Couldn't do enough for our group. My parents and my nan visit often and are always very well looked after. My first visit for a family birthday meal. Phoned ahead for vegan options for me, so happy with the reaction of staff & the lovely food they served me (and the rest of our non-vegan group). Thank you so much for taking the time to consider my choices & for making it a really lovely afternoon for us
Mediocre visit mainly based on the food. Staff were really friendly though and tried hard. Unfortunately the food let us down - it was the festive menu and the "stuffing"? was more like bread rocks. Would have been okay if it was cheap, but it wasn't. Meat also a bit dry, obviously sat under the lights a long time before reaching the table.
Food took 45 minutes to arrive, even though it was a straightforward order of burger, curry and lasagne. There were only 3 other tables seated and a couple of bar orders before us.One meal was incomplete, waitress said they were out of coleslaw and didn't offer any replacement. We asked what substitutes were available and chose onion rings. Second waitress then explained they should have been included anyway and offered to deduct one drink from the bill as a gesture of goodwill.We won't be in any rush to go back!
