We have just had the most amazing meal at this restaurant. I am vegan and my husband is vegetarian. There was a varied choice for both of us and all 3 course were of an excellent standard and delicious. The staff were pleasant and attentive, even though we arrived at a busy sunday lunchtime we didn't have to wait long for each course. We can't wait to visit again after the refurbishment!
Fantastic location. Lovely welcome by the staff, seated within minutes. Great menu. Party of three and chose roast pork, roast chicken and cod and chips. Arrived very quickly and was excellent. The puddings were amazing especially the chocolate and peanut bomb. The staff were very smiley and attentive. Worth the 50 mile round trip! Top tip, book early in the day as limited parking.
Went for dinner with friends and hadnt been there for years so I was very surprised at the all new interior and layout. Excellent choice from the menu and food to match was exceptional!I would say obviously a little more expensive than the usual chains but you get what you pay for in this world and it was well worth the money. Ill certainly be going back.
It can sometimes be tricky to find a parking space at the Brampton Mill, but thats the only downside to this popular riverside eatery. Everything weve tried from the menu has been exquisite, and there are often several seasonal specials and deals to choose from. In the summer theres no better place locally to sit and watch the world go by than at the waters edge, glass of wine in hand. Its advisable to book in advance to get a table here.
Lovely setting as this restaurant is an old mill so its situated by the river. Plenty of tables in lots of different areas. Real log fire burning, cosy feel. Menu choice was good but think the mash was from a packet.. would go back as lots of other choices! Looks like it would be nice in the summer also
