The food was amazing and great atmosphere in the bar. Will definitely go back.
A rare find in Godmanchester which hasn't disappointed on any occasion we've visited. Worth visiting for a warm cosy meal in the evening but I have to say our favourite trip was an especially lovely afternoon sat in the garden with a few drinks during last summer. Lovely staff and a great atmosphere.
We havent eaten here so cant comment on the quality of the food, although the menu always looks appetising. Theres a good selection of alcohol on tap, and theres a large and sunny beer garden around the back of the pub, perfect for our rare sunny days.
Really inviting warm little pub with an acceptable range of beers on tap. My friends have eaten there and say it is good but I haven't so can't comment.
Need to employ a proper pizza chef, all like card board thin and burnt at the underside, there is an extra 1.5 inches od crust that also NEEDS covering in sauce and toppings, at 10 each I would have done better to have 'Dominoes Pizza' delivered. The beer was fine, but then they can't muck about with that so 1 star.Would i go back, yes, but only if they pick this up and place a reply, then we know they will address the problem, otherwise No.
