Good place to stay if you want to avoid the prices and congestion around Cambridge. Clean and comfortable with a cosy bar and good choice of food. Excellent breakfast!
Have been today with my colleagues from work.Pub was looking ok food was good, except of the salad as it was like dry and old I guess because we ordered over phone before arrival they may have keep the plates warm and the salad have cooked and dryed. Some of us got the drinks from the bar, some were waiting for their drinks about 20 min. Went to the bar and asked for them, they said that they will bring them to the table, no one have served our drinks until we went to collect them. I asked for a salad sauce that was never brought to me. So apart from that everything was alright :))
Nice main meal food but the French mustard went out of date in October 2017 and the side salad was dreadful ... Limp and brown and clearly from a supermarket bagged salad. Hence the loss of one star. Definitely not worth 2.25
