Bright roomy, good menu and cheap! Worth trying the hotel next door with room costing about 80 per night. Rooms are clean, good tea/coffee making facilities and shower is easy to use. Hotel right next to pub and there is usually a helpful person on reception. Downsides to hotel - I found bed a bit hard, pillows a bit squishy, and nowhere to put your shampoo etc in shower. Room takes time to warm up. But highly recommended if travelling on a budget.
Always pleasant and friendly atmosphere. No piped music. Drinks are cheap. Food is simple but good, inexpensive and quickly served. Breakfast is our favourite! Plenty of seating choices. Ladies toilet is a conversation piece! Good all round!
Service a little slow at bar, great space for large parties. Gents W/C ok .... Ladies W/C like a palace! Building is fantastic.I had a rump steak which was a little chewy but very tasty. staff were busy but attentive
This is a great weather spoons. It's a nice newly refurbished building / buildings with plenty of seating in different zones and outdoor seating too. There is never a long wait for the bar, the food is always great, cooked well, and arrives quickly whether in a group of 2 or a group of 15. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional, always so welcoming. The best staff I've come across in any pub. The loos are always clean, it's accessible to wheelchairs and mobility impaired. Always feels friendly. Couldn't fault Anything about it. And the prices are brilliant.
A lovely pub with amazing disabled tiolet with adult change table and adjustable sink. Duty manager Dan was very helpful and supportive as he pushed our wheelchair. Good hot food in nice ran surroundings x five star
